TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SUZUKI BURGMAN SCOOTER, MODEL AN650K7. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE FIBERGLASS FENDER SPONTANEOUSLY FELL OFF THE VEHICLE AND BECAME CAUGHT IN THE DISC BRAKE UNIT. AS A RESULT, THE RISK OF INJURY AND A CRASH WERE INCREASED. THE CONTACT IS IN THE PROCESS OF NOTIFYING THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 4. UPDATED 09/29/08. *LJ

SUDDEN FAILURE OF BRAKES WHILE RIDING ON CITY STREET. INVESTIGATION BY DEALER ISOLATED IT TO THE ABS HYDRAULIC UNIT FAILING "CLOSED" AND PREVENTING PRESSURE FROM HANDLE/MASTER CYLINDER REACHING THE WHEELS. FAILED JUNE 2016. REPAIRED 7 JULY 2016. BIKE BOUGHT IN 2013 FROM ORIGINAL OWNER. FLUIDS CHANGED AT THAT TIME BUT WERE FRESH WHEN CHANGED. BRAKE FLUID WAS HONEY COLORED AND NOT CLEAR. ONLY FRONT BRAKE FAILED. REAR WAS STILL OPERATIONAL.
