DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE ENGINE WAS SMOKING AND THERE WAS A NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. ALSO, THE BRAKES EXHIBITED EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. ON OCCASION, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT EFFORTS. THE CONTACT ALSO EXPRESSED THAT GAS LEAKED AND WOULD NOT TRANSMIT TO THE ENGINE. THE OIL LIGHT ILLUMINATED EVEN WHEN WAS JUST INPUT.

TL - THE DEALER OWNS A 2006 OMICRON MOTORCYCLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS GUANG DONG TAYO MOTORCYCLE CO. THE MODEL NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE FRONT BRAKE PADS DID NOT COVER THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS. THIS MAY POTENTIALLY CAUSE BRAKE FAILURE. *AK

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SUZUKI AN400. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, GASOLINE BEGAN SQUIRTING ALL OVER THE CONTACT'S CLOTHES AND FACE. THE GASOLINE ORIGINATED FROM THE SIDE OF THE FUEL TANK. HE STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK CAP WAS NOT LOOSE. THE ENGINE SIZE, # OF CYLINDERS, TRANSMISSION TYPE, POWERTRAIN, AND A VALID VIN WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 826 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SUZUKI AN400. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE VEHICLE WILL JERK AND THEN SHUT OFF. THE DEALER WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE, BUT NOT RESOLVE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION CAN BE SWITCHED BETWEEN AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL. THE # OF CYLINDERS WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 5,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,800.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SUZUKI KING QUAD 450 (NA). ON JULY 14, 2007, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WHILE ROUNDING A CURB. THE VEHICLE DRIFTED OFF THE ROAD, DOWN A STEEP EMBANKMENT, AND THEN CRASHED INTO TWO TREES. THE OCCUPANTS WERE THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE. THE FOUR WHEELER CONTINUED MOVING UNTIL IT CRASHED HEAD ON WITH ANOTHER TREE. BOTH OCCUPANTS WERE KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS. THEY WERE AIR LIFTED TO AN AREA HOSPITAL AND TREATED FOR THEIR INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. ON NOVEMBER 30, 2007, THEY RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE ELECTRICA…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 SUZUKI AN400. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V108000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE NECESSARY PARTS TO REMEDY THE FAILURE WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN IN THE POSSESSION OF THE DEALER FOR OVER A MONTH, AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF THE NECESSARY PARTS TO MAKE REPAIRS. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 38. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
