TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 SETRA S417 BUS. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS. THE OPPOSING DRIVERS INFORMED THE CONTACT OF A FIRE IN THE REAR PASSENGER WHEEL AREA. IMMEDIATELY, THE DRIVER PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE. THERE WERE NO PERSONAL INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE FAILURE WAS CONTRIBUTED TO A DEFECTIVE WHEEL BEARING.
