MY 1991 PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER HAS HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE EXHAUST SYSTEM, THE TRANSMISSION, PUT IN A NEW FUEL PUMP, A NEW RADIATOR, NOW IT FAILED AN EMISSIONS TEST AND I WAS SMELLING FUEL WHEN I WAS DRIVING ONLY TO FIND OUT MY FUEL RAIL IS LEAKING OR SHOULD I SAY SQUIRTING AS ONTO THE ENGINE, WHICH ALMOST RESULTED IN A FIRE HAD I HAD BEEN SMART ENOUGH TO CHECK IT OUT. NOW THE SHOP WHERE I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED SINCE IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE SAYS YOU CAN ONLY GET THE PART FROM A DEALER WHICH COSTS 319.00 AND THAT DOES…

I WAS DRIVING PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER 1991 WHEN ITS TRANSMISSION BROKE DOWN ON I95, NEAR WASHINGTON DC. I LUCKILY PARKED IT ON LEFT SHOULDER. BUT IMAGINE IF IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED ON A BRIDGE OR ANY INCLINED ROAD, THEN IT MAY HAVE CAUSED MULTIPLE ACCIDENTS. THE TRANSMISSION BREAKDOWN IS A SERIOUS DESIGN FAULT IN PLYMOUTH VANS AND IT IS MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN FOR ALL OF US. SO I LIKE TO KNOW THAT IF THIS COMPLAIN WILL BE HEARD AND I WILL BE NOTIFIED FOR THE OUTCOME. THANKS. *AK

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1991 PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER LE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE FUEL RAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WHERE THEY DISCOVERED THE FUEL LEAK. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE WHO ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TOO OLD FOR THEM TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 155,000.
