DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTO PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM. THE PARKING BRAKE FAILED THREE TIMES. DURING THE FIRST INCIDENT THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN 20MPH WHEN THE PARKING BRAKE LOCKED. THE VEHICLE WAS MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC CAME TO THE SCENE. THE BRAKE WAS RELEASED ALLOWING THE VEHICLE TO BE DRIVEN HOME AND IT WAS LATER TOWED TO A LOCAL SERVICE DEALER. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ENTIRE AUTO PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM.
