VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH PARKING BRAKE ON IN MY DRIVEWAY FOR 3 DAYS . PARKING BRAKES FAILED AN THE MOTORHOME ROLLED OFF MY DRIVEWAY AND INTO THE YARD HITTING ONE OF MY OTHER VEHICLES. AFTER CONTACTING NEWMAR AND FREIGHTLINER I WAS INFORMED THAT A PRESSURE SWITCH HAD FAILED AND CAUSED THE BRAKES TO RELEASE. WHAT IF THIS HAD HAPPENED AT A GAS STATION WITH MY FAMILY IN IT. THE LIGHTS IN THE DASHBOARD INDICATE THE PARKING BRAKES ARE INGUAGED BUT THERE ARE NO BRAKES. THE PART FREIGHTLINER SAID FAILED IS 06-32698-000 SWITCH-PRESSURE

VEHICLE RUNNING NORMALLY, ACCELERATED TO MERGE WITH TRAFFIC, ENGINE BEGAN TO MISS THEN BACKFIRED. MISS CONTINUED AND THE VEHICLE WOULDN'T ACCELERATE PAST 55 MPH. PULLED TO SIDE OF THE ROAD TO CHECK FOR ANY VISUAL PROBLEMS, NONE NOTED. ENGINE STARTED NORMALLY AND I FINISHED THE 30 MILE DRIVE HOME. CHANGED FUEL FILTER, AIR FILTER AND MAF SENSOR. ENGINE STARTED NORMALLY AND I TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE. AFTER 20 MILES WITH NO ISSUES I ATTEMPTED AN ACCELERATION AND AGAIN IT LOST POWER, SKIPPING/MISSING AND BACKFIRED. PULLED INTO A REST AREA AND…

CHECKED YOUR WEB SITE FOR RECALL ON MY MOTORHOME THERE IS A RECALL ON STEERING GEAR BRACKET' I CALLED NEWMAR WAS FIRST TOLD TO TAKE MOTORHOME TO MID TN IN NASHVILLE. CALLED THEM TODAY TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT THEY TOLD ME NEWMAR HAD NOT CONTACTED THEM AND THERE WAS NO RECALL CALLED NEWMAR BACK THEY SAID THERE WAS NO RECALL. I ASKED WHY I WAS TOLD LAST WEEK THEIR WAS! IS THEIR A RECALL OR NOT? I FEEL A LITTLE INSECURE DRIVING THINKING MY STEERING GEAR IS GOING TO BREAK. HELP

DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR FAILED CUSTOMER STATED THAT SHE WAS DENIED REIMBURSEMENT FOR DAMAGES DONE DUE TO THE REFRIGERATOR LEAKING**NAR**CC THE CONSUMER STATED THE REFRIGERATOR LEAKED COOLANT NEAR THE ELECTRICAL HEATER. PRIOR TO MANUFACTURER ANNOUNCEMENT OF REIMBURSEMENT OF DEFECIVE FUEL PUMPS CONSUMER REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND IS REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT, BUT WAS ADVISED INCIDENT HAD TO BE REPORTED WITHIN 180 DAYS OF OCCURENCE AND CONSUMER NOTIFIED MANUFACTURER AFTER THE 180 DAYS CONSUMER WAS NOT AWARE THAT MANUFACTURER WAS REIMBURSING FOR REPAIRS PAST THE ORIGINAL 3 YEARS/36000 MILES PERIOD. *JB
