DT: THE CONTACT STATES SHE OWNS A 2001 MITSUBISHI MONTERO SPORT. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AS A RESULT OF THE BRAKES NOT WORKING. WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THEY WOULD NOT STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS PUMPING THE BRAKES TO TRY TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP, BUT IT WOULD NOT COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THIS CAUSED THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE TO HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT WSTOPPED IN FRONT OF CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED.
