STARTED CAR, PUT IN REVERSE. FELT THE ENGINE SURGE MOVED SHIFTER TO NEUTRAL THEN DRIVE . ENGINE SURGED, COULD NOT STOP THE CAR WITH THE BRAKES IT PROCEEDED THROUGH A GATE AND WAS STOPPED BY OUR STONE FENCE. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ ML350. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH IN THE RAIN, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STALLED AND BECAME STUCK. THE WIPERS RESTARTED MOMENTARILY AND THEN STOPPED WORKING AGAIN WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AND THE WIPER MOTOR WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE WIPER TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND CONSULTED WITH THE DEALER. The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML350. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the driveway, she noticed an unknown fluid leaking from the vehicle. Over time, the contact noticed that an unknown pink fluid had also started to leak form the vehicle. THE VEHICLE WAS IN REVERSE WHEN A STRONG SOUND WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE BACK, AFTER STARTING THE CAR, IT DISPLAYS A WARNING MESSAGE LIGHT ON THE DASH; IT BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER AND A SQUEALING SOUND WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE ENGINE, THIS COULD EASILY HAVE RESULTED IN A LOSS OF CONTROL AND A CRASH WITHOUT ANY WARNING. My viechle is loss of propulsion without warning on the freeway last week on a raining day. After brought the car to West Covina Dealer inspected the car is leaking water that has entered the spare wheel well, the accumulated water could intermittently contact the fuel pump control unit caused loss propulsion. And there are some circuit boards and wires damaged due to a water leak and not drive able. The West Covina MB dealer is refuse to fix until MBusa responsible for the cost. Please help what other option we have about this issue?

The vehicle was towed to the local mechanic who determined that the fuel pump was faulty and needed to be replaced. The fuel pump was replaced, and the vehicle was repaired.
