Owner report 11528270 · 2023-06-22 (June 22, 2023)

My 2022 Mercedes GLE 350 With distronic adaptive cruise control accelerates with the cruise control disabled. It's happened about a dozen times since I purchased the vehicle in September of 2022. All acceleration issues occurred at low speed while turning. Right after I release the brake while turning my car accelerates like the distronic cruise control is engaged eventhough I just braked and it's disengaged. I have to quickly hit the brakes to disengage the accelration.

Owner report 11647751 · 2025-03-11 (March 11, 2025)

I have a 2020 GLE 350 and today, I was turning into a parking on my right. I stopped my car, switched the cameras, so I could see the parking slot on the screen. Just when I took the right turn into the slot, the car accelerated at the same angle and jumped onto the curb. I tried hard to brake, but the brake was not working. I had the presence of mind to press the Park button on the gear lever and then the car stopped. No car damage or no injury, but it was a close call. I called 911 and the Johns Creek police helped me to get the car back in …

Owner report 11589354 · 2024-05-17 (May 17, 2024)

A safefy recall was issued December 2023 for my vehicle. I received a recall notification letter dated February 2024. The letter stated that the fuel pump impeller mighe deform contacting the fuel pump housing causing the fuel pump to stop operating. As a result the vehicle could lose drive power and increase the risk of a crash or injury. As a result I am reluctant to drive my vehicle far from home. I'm told after nearly five months there is no remedy. Someone at the local dealership said the remedy is available but had not reach the area w…

Owner report 11758734 · 2026-08-22 (August 22, 2026)

I was told by the investigators that the fire was caused by an electrical component under the passenger seat that Mercedes is well aware of. My life was placed in danger because of the Inhalation of forever chemicals and lung damaging smoke and super heated air. Problem confirmed by dozens of owners who experienced and documented the very some accounts, some who have reported contacting the NHTSA years prior to my experience but nothing was done to save lives or prevent losses. The American Freedom insurance investigator told me in writing what…
