WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THIS TRUCK AND THE M-DRIVE TRANSMISSION WHEN THE DRIVE WAS COMING OF A HIGHWAY ON AN EXIT RAMP HE WAS SLOWING DOWN AND THE VEHICLES CLUTCH STAYED ENGAGED AND THE DRIVER ROLLED INTO THE INTERSECTION ALMOST HITTING A CAR. THE VEHICLES CLUTCH IS AUTOMATICALLY DISENGAGES WHEN YOU PUSH ON THE BRAKE WHILE THE CLUTCH DIDN'T DISENGAGE BECAUSE WHEN OF THE BRAKE LIGHT WIRES HAD DEVELOPED A CORROSION SPOT FROM THE WINTER WEATHER AND SHORTED OUT THE LIGHT AND CAUSED THE FUSE TO BLOW. MACK/VOLVO MP8/D-13 INJECTORS: MACK TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH THE MP8 ENGINES HAVE A KNOWN INJECTOR ISSUE THAT CAUSES THE TRUCK TO 1) MIS-FIRE AT ROAD SPEED CREATING A LOSS OF POWER. 2) INJECTOR FAILURE CAUSES EXCESSIVE SOOT CAUSING ON-ROAD FAILURES.3) THE TRUCK MAY NOT BE RESTARTED OR ABLE TO BE MOVED DUE TO EXCESSIVE CRANKING DUE TO INJECTOR FAILURE. 4) TRUCKS NEED TO BE TOWED TO A REPAIR FACILITY WHEN BREAKDOWN OCCURS.
