Owner report 11596849 · 2024-06-26 (June 26, 2024)

I was driving on 64 and at a sudden my 2018 NX 300 stopped accelerating and engine was stalled. I was lucky that the highway was not busy, so I was able to park it on the shoulder of HWY and later towed it to my home. The car was not drivable anymore as engine was keep shutting down with the warning and engine lights. The code on the screen was P0087 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low. It seems that the fuel pump mall function. I research online and noticed, that others also reported the same issue related to Fuel pump failure on this model.…

Owner report 11514299 · 2023-03-28 (March 28, 2023)

After 45 minutes in stop-and-go traffic the brake pedal went to the floor four times, the Brake Override System (BOS) failed, throwing the shifter into Park failed, and we hit the car in front of us. No warning sounds typical for this car sounded and no lights appeared on the dash. Thankfully, we were only moving at 5 mph which I didn't think qualified as a "crash" but there was indeed a collision. No one was hurt. Besides my wife and myself there were two backseat passengers who also saw my efforts to stop the car. We had the car towed to Lex…

Owner report 11643287 · 2025-02-18 (February 18, 2025)

While driving regularly on the highway my sunroof spontaneously shattered. There were no warning signs and no visible debris on the road that could have hit it. This is the SECOND instance of this happening with this vehicle (2018 Lexus NX 300) within three years. The sudden loud sound is dangerous as it can cause someone to jerk the steering wheel. Also, if the sunroof is open, glass could rain down on the occupants of the vehicle. My sunroof was closed at the time, but my vehicle littered glass over the roadway while trying to exit safely. Th…
