Owner report 11678409 · 2025-08-05 (August 5, 2025)

On July 19th, with less than 100 miles on the odometer, the vehicle began down and upshifting so hard that it felt like a collision. Additionally, when attempting to accelerate, the transmission would hunt for gears without engaging, resulting in loss of power - creating a very dangerous situation. I found no improvement as I drove home. I took my GX550 back to Discount Tires, I asked them to check the tires and wheels. I was …

Owner report 11754032 · 2026-07-31 (July 31, 2026)

There is a significant squeal when braking at low speed in both forward and reverse. I am unsure whether this is a safety issue or not, but there is evidence online that other owners are experiencing the same issue.
