MONDAY, JUNE 5TH,I BOUGHT THE LEXUS ES350 AT 6502 5TH AVE IN BROOKLYN. IT HASN'T BEEN A WEEK YET, AND ON FRIDAY THE 9TH, THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED. I WAS DRIVING FROM STATEN ISLAND TO FLUSHING TO PICK UP MY FRIEND TO GO BACK TO MY HOME. ALONG THE 495 HIGHWAY, WE WERE DRIVING AROUND 45-50 MPH AND SUDDENLY A WARNING POPPED UP ON THE ABS SYSTEM SAYING THAT THE "BREAKER IS ON." TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 LEXUS ES350. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND FAILED TO RESTART. AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES, UNKNOWN WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER (BELL LEXUS NORTH SCOTTSDALE, 18555 N SCOTTSDALE RD, SCOTTSDALE, AZ 85255, [phone removed]) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SYSTEM SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,534.

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE FRACTURED AND THE CONTROL ARM ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUSPENSION ARM FRACTURED NEAR THE WHEEL BEARING. THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL WAS PULLING THE VEHICLE TO THE LEFT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT STRUCK A CURB.
