Service Electrical System - Consistent error when driving the vehicle - not reproducible as it will appear 5 minutes into operation or after a number of cycles. Currently on 2 visits to the service department for this error. After the 2nd visit, they performed actuator calibration. Assumed it was sorted after a number of test drives to re-create. Issue occurred within 5 miles of pick-up from the dealership.

Owner report 11666352 · 2025-06-11 (June 11, 2025)
The car died/bricked up 2 days ago 7 days after owning the vehicle. They said it was a cell in the 12 volt battery. Just picked it up and drove it for 30 minutes it threw up a turtle error and jerked forward a few times Almost hit a pedestrian and a car in front of me. I parked it and getting it towed. It seems according to other owners these things are all bad.

Owner report 11682770 · 2025-08-25 (August 25, 2025)
While traveling on the interstate at approximately 70 mph, I pressed the accelerator pedal to increase speed. Instead of accelerating, the vehicle suddenly jerked, and the wheels locked up as though the brakes engaged on their own. I continued pressing the accelerator, but the vehicle rapidly decelerated without responding to throttle input. The most concerning part was that the brake lights did not illuminate while the vehicle slowed down, which created an extreme safety hazard because drivers behind me had no warning that I was slowing. A la…

Owner report 11695538 · 2025-10-25 (October 25, 2025)
I was driving in my son’s school car line when the car jolted and a red turtle appeared on the screen with a stability warning as well. The car would not accelerate but would then unexpectedly accelerate on its own. I had to diligently keep my foot in the brake as well as accelerate. The car wouldn’t go over 10ish mph. I held up traffic until I could get to an empty parking lot to turn off the car. Had I been on a busy interstate I could have been seriously injured and so could others. I’ve only had the suv 3 months and the service electric sys…

Owner report 11687424 · 2025-09-15 (September 15, 2025)
Just bought my vehicle and already had to have it towed into the dealer because it would not charge. They did some updates and sent it home. I charged my car fully. Drove it 3 miles and parked. When I came back out to my car 30 minutes later it turned onI put it on reverse but it would not drive and all of the letters on the gear shift were lit up red and a bunch of warnings were flashing on the vehicle to service transmission. The "red lobster" or red wrench was illuminated as well as multiple other things. The car would not turn off as it kep…

Owner report 11674319 · 2025-07-17 (July 17, 2025)
I am reporting ongoing, unresolved, and potentially dangerous issues with my [Year] Jeep [Model, Trim], related to the ECU, electrical system, and overall drivability. I just picked up the vehicle yesterday after it spent 31 days in service, during which the dealership pulled over 65 different codes. Despite this, the vehicle was returned to me with no true resolution, and within 24 hours of driving it again, it is now showing 23 additional new codes. The car has stalled while driving, creating an extremely unsafe situation. On several occasi…

Owner report 11690503 · 2025-09-30 (September 30, 2025)
Writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the vehicle I purchased approximately six months ago. Unfortunately, the vehicle has been in the service department for nearly five of those six months due to persistent and serious mechanical and electronic issues that have yet to be resolved, despite multiple attempts by the dealership and manufacturer. The most alarming issue is that the vehicle frequently stalls and then abruptly lurches forward, simulating the feeling of being rear-ended. This issue presents a significant safety ris…

Owner report 11728978 · 2026-04-03 (April 3, 2026)
1) Keyless entry/auto lock/unlock has been an issue since we leased the car, and it remains. CarPlay maps on the dashboard are not in sync with reality (even on the short ride home) often displaying the steering wheel icon and/or “0 m” directions that make no sense with the reality of where I was driving. After a brief stop on the way home, I turned the car on and the emergency brake initiated itself, as it so often has since we leased the car. This is made even worse by the fact that they turned off a collision safety feature to fix this issue…
