Owner report 11524214 · 2023-05-28 (May 28, 2023)

Was driving and my vehicle came up and said I had an issue with the electrical power steering assist system and was going to shut off. I was waiting at a red light the vehicle put itself in park and shut down. I restarted the vehicle and it would not move out of park or any of the windows or radio controls would function. I upon restarting four more times was able to get it back into drive and return home. The steering functioned fine but the radio, back up camera, aux power port, and windows still do not work. Once I returned home this seems …

Purchased new in 2023....vehicle soon started making a "hissing" sound from steering area normally upon first morning startup. The vehicle would then go forward or in reverse when I attempted to come out of "park" but had not released brake yet. brought to dealer for repair 2/26/24 at 6162 miles. dealer replaced vacuum pump as cause of concern. the issue seemed resolved for maybe less than two weeks. same issue returned. The safety concern is that the vehicle should not move with the brake pedal pressed and this issue is allowing the vehicle to…

Owner report 11574696 · 2024-02-29 (February 29, 2024)

This Gladiator had at the time less than 5k miles on it. I went to start the Jeep and there was no power. No lights, not starting nothing. I called the dealer. They would not deal with me without going through JEEP WAVE, Called a tow company to tow to the dealer purchased from. The tow truck driver tried to jump the jeep with his portable system. We did get a few lights, still not starting. When the Jeep was delivered to the dealer the service clerk witnessed the same issues. The jeep was then taken to service and put on its charger and it star…

Owner report 11554745 · 2023-11-12 (November 12, 2023)

At 5,700 miles on my 2023 Gladiator the drivers side rear brake caliper bolt fell out. This created a loud bangin inside the wheel and damaged the wheel as well. Upon stopping the caliper pivoted and lodged into the wheel not allowing me to back up.

Owner report 11584730 · 2024-04-23 (April 23, 2024)

Parking/emergency brake has become unattached and no longer functions. It is a manual transmission and the parking brake is required to keep the vehicle from possibly rolling once parked.

Owner report 11674645 · 2025-07-18 (July 18, 2025)

I used the 4 wheel drive and received message that clutch was hot, then received message to service transmission. Vehicle went into limp mode. Drove at speeds of 35 to 40 miles an hour. 50 miles an hour down hill. Had to drive access roads because [XXX] traffic is 75 miles per hour. Several times speed was even slower. Took it to brown dodge in Devine. The reset system and said I could not use 4x4. Referenced star code s2521000001. I took vehicle in 7/13/25. I wonder if they even previously preformed recall 19a clutch on Thi…

Owner report 11608632 · 2024-08-15 (August 15, 2024)

I was turning a corner and as soon as I made the turn, the truck completely stalled. Lights were on and the screen was prompting me to step on the brake and press start even though the gear was on Drive. The gear wouldn't shift to neutral to at least remove the car from the busy street. The dash lights were flashing and as I tried to restart the car, it just made a grinding sound. Almost got hit by two other vehicles. No other symptoms observed other than when on a freeway a few months ago, the vehicle was having difficulty switching to a highe…

Owner report 11529869 · 2023-07-01 (July 1, 2023)

Every single time I try to fill my gas tank, at any gas station, the gas pours out and shoots up fast out of the tank fill hole. I have even slowed down filling, and when I hear it getting close coming up the pipe, I let of the pump handle and it will still come up and splash out. I have 3100 miles on it, and it has done it every single time. I have to wipe gas off my fender and it splashes enough to run down on the ground every time. I think this is an immediate safety and environmental issue.

Owner report 11631985 · 2024-12-21 (December 21, 2024)

My check engine light came on and I was told it set a code for a flash update . Dealership did the update and told me if the light came back on it was the fuel pump . Light came back on and I took it back immediately to dealership . They said perfectly safe to drive , it’s the fuel pump . My jeep truck only has 22,000 miles on it . Three days later I was driving home and the vehicle engine light was turned off by the dealership a second time and the fuel pump went out while I was driving with no light warning or nothing and my truck came to…
