The contact owns a 2017 Jaguar XE. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 MPH, the check engine and battery warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle could not able to be restarted. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was then towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the fuel line needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 101,820.

When it rains, the trunk fills with water killing the batter and causing all kinds of electrical problems. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 JAGUAR XE. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JAGUAR FREEPORT (146 W SUNRISE HWY, FREEPORT, NY 11520, [phone removed]) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WATER PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000.

WHEN THE CAR GETS CLOSE TO 1/4 OF A TANK OF GAS IT COMPLETELY STOPS AND IT SWITCHES INTO NEUTRAL, HEADLIGHTS SHUT OFF, AND THE CAR COMPLETELY STALLS OUT. TONIGHT IS THE SECOND TIME IN A WEEK THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THE INTERSTATE IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. THERE'S LESS THAN 30K MILES ON MY CAR! SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED! MY FAMILY IS IN DANGER AS WE SIT STRANDED ON THE SIDE OF THE INTERSTATE, AND IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO US I'M SUING THIS COMPANY!
