Owner report 11075418 · 2018-02-28 (February 28, 2018)

AT APPROXIMATELY 40K MILES, THE DEALER REPLACED THE CVT BECAUSE THE CAR WAS "BUCKING" AND CREATED A CODE THAT THE MECHANICS COULD SEE. THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM UNTIL A FEW THOUSAND MILES LATER; THE CAR NOW JUTTERS AROUND 20-25MPH ON FLAT ROADS AND VERY PRONOUNCED ON INCLINES THEN PRODUCES A WOBBLE THROUGHOUT THE CAR AT SPEEDS ABOVE 25MPH. WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE GAS, THE SYMPTOM STOPS. BOTH THE SERVICE MANAGER AND TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST TOOK THE CAR FOR A RIDE WITH ME AND EXPERIENCED THE SYMPTOMS. DEALER SAID THAT BECAUSE IT IS NOT PRODU…

I WAS BCKNG OUT OF A PKNG SPOT BETWEEN 2 CARS AND THE BACK UP CAMERA SHOWED LOTS OF SPACE. I MADE SURE THE RIGHT OF MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT HIT PARKED CARS I WAS CLEAR ON THE LEFT. I BACKED UP A FEW INCHES AND HEARD GLASS BREAK AND TAPPED THE BEIGE BRICK WALL. UNTIL IMPACT THE SENSORS DID NOT LIGHT UP OR BEEP AT ALL. AT THE POINT OF IMPACT IT WAS FRENZY BEEPING. A WITNESS SAW THE INCIDENT AND WE WALKED BEHIND THE VEHICLE TO SEE DAMAGE. BECAUSE THE REAR LIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS STICK OUT FURTHER THAN THE BUMPER THE LIGHTS ARE DAMAGED. I TOOK IT TO T…

Owner report 11318845 · 2020-03-20 (March 20, 2020)

INTERMITTENT ISSUES INVOLVING THE BRAKING SYSTEM. 1. BRAKE PEDAL SINKS SLOWLY TO FLOOR WHEN BRAKING OR IN STOP. WHEEZING OR CHIRPING SOUND WHEN RELEASING THE BRAKE PEDAL. 2. WHEN BRAKING SOFTLY, BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELS ABOUT 50% BEFORE THE VEHICLE BEGINS SLOWING. 3. ISSUE PERSISTS THE ENTIRE TIME THE CAR IS IN USE. HAD SEVERAL NEAR MISSES WITH HITTING VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS IN FRONT. VEHICLE HAS ONLY 32K MILES. PROBLEM IS REDUCED WHEN INTELLIGENT BRAKE ASSIST (IBA) IS TURNED OFF. Vehicle keeps shutting off mid drive have to jump it to get it started. It runs ok for 1-2 days then dies again. Tested battery and checked alternator to no avail. The ac cooling fan goes up and down and draws a ton of power from the vehicle. All local mechanics can’t figure it out.

Owner report 11458867 · 2022-03-29 (March 29, 2022)

The vehicle on at least 4 occasions has stopped accelerating when driving the vehicle (first time I believe was fall 2021, this last time was Spring 2022). Most of the times that the issue was noticed, the car was was moving at slower speeds (35 or less). The engine remained running but pressing on the gas pedal didn't make the vehicle increase it's speed. The first time it did this we took it to the dealership to inspect. They could not replicate the issue and they said that no error codes showed up. We left with no repairs or answers. I…
