I own a 2025 Honda Africa Twin 1100 DCT with approximately 7,300 miles. The rear brake pads became completely worn down to the metal pad-wear indicator clips. The rear brake caliper was pushing the brake pads into the brake rotor/disc, resulting in severe metal-on-metal grinding and extremely loud brake squealing. The issue occurred approximately one and a half weeks ago. The contact owns a 2025 Honda CRF1100 Motorcycle. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V583000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted, but the motorcycle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
