I am reporting a potential safety concern with my 2026 Honda Accord SE with approximately 8,000 miles. The vehicle experienced rodent damage to the camshaft position (CMP) wiring harness. This occurred despite the vehicle being relatively new and well maintained. The wiring insulation appears to be soy-based, which may attract rodents and increase the likelihood of damage to critical engine components.
