I had a complete loss of power the car abruptly stopped in the middle of the fast lane on the freeway 680 in the San Francisco Bay area. Very dangerous situation highway patrol came had to stop the highway. I was able to get the car rolled to the shoulder and then I had to have it towed to my house. Could’ve been a very dangerous situation where crashes could’ve occurred. It stopped the entire five lanes of the highway.

After enabling a "hill hold" feature where the car will stop after braking without needing to leave foot on brake, the car will automatically go into park/standby mode which results in car basically shutting off. This has affected many fisker oceans since their latest update. The car will stall on the freeway in stop and go traffic, at stoplights and stop signs. The driver must then put the car back into gear which with this vehicle does not happen expeditiously which results in stress and danger if someone approaching quickly from the rear.…

Several times I have experienced mechanical failure with car stalling in the middle of the road, requiring to power down and restart. This led to several near collisions. The message on the dashboard was indicating something like "Drive Motor failure."

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the vehicle was started, and the "Low Battery Power" message was displayed. The contact attempted to exit the vehicle but was unable to unlock the door with the key fob or manually. The contact's husband was able to open the driver's side door from outside the vehicle.
