TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 (NA) ECLIPSE ATTITUDE TRAVEL TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WIRING IN THE TRAILER WAS FAULTY. ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WOULD NOT OPERATE. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, THE WIRING IN THE TRAILER WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED AND BURNED. THE CONTACT NOTICED SPARKS COMING FROM THE WIRING AND FUSES, WHICH EMITTED A GLOWING RED COLOR. THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT ASSIST WITH ANY REPAIRS OR ASSUME LIABILITY. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 300.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 (NA) ECLIPSE ATTITUDE RV. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE LED LIGHT WAS NOT WORKING. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES WITH THE LED LIGHTS INSIDE THE RV. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED FAULTY WIRING AS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 0.

THE BRAKES HAVE BEEN GOING OUT INTERMITTENTLY SINCE WE PURCHASED THE TRAILER. IT WENT OUT FOR 600 MILES ON OUR LATEST TRIP BACK FROM UTAH. IT IS IN THE SHOP TO BE REPAIRED ONCE AGAIN. I AM SO SCARED THAT WE ARE GONNA DIE WHILE PULLING OUT NEW 2017 40 FT TRAILER OR KILL SOMEONE ELSE DUE TO NO BRAKES.

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 3 MPH ON A DIRT ROAD, THE GAS TANK SEPARATED FROM THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED THE SCREWS WERE LOOSE AND THE GAS TANK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. UPDATED 12/15/06. *JB
