WHEN THE CONSUMER WAS IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, THE VEHICLE CUT OFF. THE CONSUMER HAD TO WAIT APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES OR SO, TO START THE VEHICLE AGAIN. THE DEALER/MECHANIC STATED THE TRANSMISSION SHOWED SIGNS OF FAILURE, ALSO WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED, IT FAILED TO LEAVE FIRST GEAR, WHICH RESULTED IN THE VEHICLE BEING DRIVEN IN FIRST GEAR, HOWEVER AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED FOR AWHILE, THE VEHICLE RAN PERFECT. *JB

WHEN THE CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES, THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THE CONSUMER HIT A POT HOLE AND WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND SKIDDED INTO A DITCH. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. WHILE ON VACATION IN FLORIDA WE NOTICED A STRONG SMELL OF GAS INSIDE THE CAR WHILE DRIVING. AFTER LOOKING THE ENGINE OVER WE NOTICED THAT THE FUEL INJECTOR RAIL IN THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE WAS SQUIRTING GAS OUT ON BOTH SIDES. HAD THIS HAPPENED WHILE WE WERE COMING TO FLORIDA ON THE LONG DRIVE THE CAR WOULD HAVE CAUGHT FIRE! THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED SERIOUS INJURY TO MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. 1994 CHRYSLER LHS DEVELOPED A HAIR CRACK IN THE FUEL INJECTOR RAIL.*MR WHEN THE CONSUMER INQUIRED ABOUT THE RECALL, HE WAS TOLD THE RECALL WAS ONLY FOR THE O-RINGS, DESPITE WHAT THE INTERNET STATED AND THE O-RINGS ON THE CONSUMERS VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPLACED IN THE PAST, SO THE CONSUMER WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT PROBLEM.
