I BROUGHT THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF CHRYSLER . CORPORATION .AFTER SPEAKING TO THREE PEOPLE . FINALLY TALKING TO A MAN WHO BUILT THESE VEHICLES HE CONCLUDED THAT THIS WAS A PROBLEM WITH MANY OTHER CARS BUILT BY CHRYSLER(TWO DOOR SEDANS ) DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE LONG DOOR FRAME PUTTING A HEAVY AMOUNT ON THE DOORS METAL WALL CAUSING IT TO BREAK …

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 CHRYSLER LEBARON CONVERTIBLE. WHEN THE DRIVER ATTEMPTED TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE, HE NOTICED SMOKE SURROUNDING THE DASHBOARD AREA. HE REMOVED THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CHECKED THE WIRES. THE CONTACT FOUND EXPOSED WIRES AND A GAP BETWEEN THE WIRES. THE VEHICLE WILL BE TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 162,000.
