I BROUGHT A 2019 CHRYSLER 300 IN JULY 2019, IN SEPTEMBER 2019 MY WIFE WAS BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, SHE SAID THE CAR SUDDENLY ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. SHE STATED THAT SHE PRESSED THE BRAKE AND IT DIDN'T STOP THE CAR. IT CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE UNTIL IT FINALLY STOPPED AFTER GOING UP AN INCLINE INTO THE NEIGHBOR'S YARD AND HIT A TREE.*DT *AS *DT*DT TICKET # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX PARTS OF THIS DOCUMENT HAVE BEEN REDACTED TO PROTECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(…

Owner report 11459607 · 2022-04-04 (April 4, 2022)
The forward collision warning (FCW) system does not function as designed. It is supposed to give visual and audible warnings as well as apply the brakes (if so selected). The system on my car gives the visual and audible warnings, but does not apply the brakes. I have experienced this several times since I have owned the car. I took it to the Chrysler dealer on 12/11/2020 and again on 3/28/2022 for this issue and their response both times was "there are no stored codes in the module and it is unsafe to test the system. Therefore the system is w…

Owner report 11483201 · 2022-09-07 (September 7, 2022)
This has happened a few times. First , I started my car, after being driven for awhile, then it immediately shutoff and the abs system, traction control, emergency brake, and other lights lit up on my dash and showed in messages “service power steering,” “service abs system,” and “service electronic stability control.” Meanwhile, my power steering goes out, brakes, and air conditioning stop working with all the lights on my dash lit. Then, when you park and turn it off, it won’t start again. Doesn’t even try to start. This also has happened wh…

Owner report 11555822 · 2023-11-18 (November 18, 2023)
It is obvious that this 2019 Chrysler 300 has the defects that a recall was issued by the NHSTA about. My electrical systems have malfunctioned multiple times causing the vehicle to lock up and die in traffic. The power steering would go out. The car wouldn’t want to shift. Anything and everything that could read information out wrong was going off. The check engine light. The brake system. Transmission. Etc. just everything was lit up on the dash. The car would lock and unlock on its own. The windshield wipers would come on and turn off by the…

Owner report 11232983 · 2019-07-18 (July 18, 2019)
I BOUGHT THIS BRAND NEW CHRYSLER 300 LTD AND IT ONLY HAS 7,100 MILES ON IT. THE CAR HAS A SEVERE SHIFTING ISSUE GOING UP AND DOWN THRU THE GEARS. VIBRATION, HESITATION AND JERKING. MY WIFE WILL NOT DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE SHE FEELS IT IS DANGEROUS TO TRANSPORT THE GRAND KIDS IN. I HAVE TAKEN IT BACK T THE DEALER MANY TIMES AND THEY TELL ME ITS WITHIN FACTORY STANDARDS AND THEY ALL SHIFT LIKE THAT. NOW THAT IS DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE. HOW CAN I GET IN CONTACT WITH A REAL CHRYSLER FACTORY TECH REP TO DRIVE THIS CAR AND EVALUATE ?
