The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH towing a trailer and depressing the brake pedal, the trailer failed to slow down as intended. The contact was able to continue driving to the destination. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that an undisclosed electrical module needed to be added to the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 2,800.

Trailer Brake controller DIC shows "check trailer wiring" and Brakes are not functioning. Intermittent issue but mostly no brakes. Lights all work fine. New RV bought in [XXX] testing brakes and DIC indicated issue. Stokes Chevy dealer replaced Brake controller and for 1st 1 1/2 hours on [XXX] no issue. Pulled over for lunch and when restarted truck the issue came back. no brakes or at best intermittent for 700 miles. numerous times pulled over and reconnected 7 pin. using GM recommended 7 pin on RV. Occasionally, after starting engine and applying brake pedal to shift into drive from park, engine rpm increases to over 1500rpm, and with full brake pedal applied rear wheels will spin while front brakes remain engaged and front wheels remain stationary. This has happened in a parked garage and rear wheels spun on dry concrete. Adding additional brake pedal pressure did not stop rear wheels from turning. Vehicle and many like it with the 10 Speed transmission are having failing valve bodys which de-rates the vehicle to stay in 5th gear by GM coding and limits speed to 50 MPH. this part has a significant lead time while GM is rolling new trucks off the line with the part needed to rectify the issue of all the already purchased trucks and SUV's

I was towing my 36 ft 5th wheel home from my storage place when the engine stopped. I had no brakes or power steering. I was coming up to a stop sign when this occurred so fortunately I was only moving about 15 mph. I was able to stop the truck and trailer by using the 5th wheel braking system without any damage to vehicle or other property. Once I regained my composure I tried to start the truck. The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated, and the transmission failed to properly shift. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who discovered metal shavings inside the fuel filter and diagnosed that the High-Pressure Fuel Pump was faulty and needed to be replaced. I was driving down the XXX Expressway Sunday, XXX, with my children in my vehicle. This is a very heavily traveled highway in [XXX] with heavy traffic.
