The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission malfunctioned, and the vehicle failed to properly accelerate. Also, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission erroneously switched from the automatic mode to the manual mode and the vehicle would not remain in the proper gear. WHEN TRYING TO BACK IN GARAGE, TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT GO IN REVERSE AT ALL AND CAN ONLY MOVE FORWARD, AT TIMES, THE NAVIGATION DISPLAY SCREEN WILL TURN OFF OR FREEZE BEFORE OPERATING NORMALLY, AND THE BRAKES HAVE BEEN SQUEEKING EVER SINCE IT WAS DRIVEN OFF THE CAR LOT WHEN PURCHASED NEW; GM SAYS THAT'S NORMAL.

The contact stated that the steering wheel had seized, and the instrument panel failed to function as needed.
