Owner report 10716463 · 2015-05-14 (May 14, 2015)
WIFE WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE AND SHE DEPRESSED THE BREAK PEDAL. THE PEDAL WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR WITHOUT STOPPING THE VEHICLE. THE CAR (AUDI Q7, 2015), CONTINUED TO MOVE FORWARD UNTIL SHE HIT THE CAR PARKED IN FRONT OF HER. SHE QUICKLY LET OFF THE BREAK PEDAL AND RE-APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE CAR STOPPED; ALTHOUGH, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN ATTRIBUTED TO THE IMPACT. LUCKILY THIS HAPPENED IN A PARKING LOT; HOWEVER, NOW SHE IS CONCERNED THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN ON THE ROAD AT HIGHER SPEEDS. SHE TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP, WHERE THE…

PROBLEM IS THE BRAKES. SIX MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING THIS SUV, THE BRAKES STARTED TO SQUEAK A LITTLE WHEN I SLOWED DOWN OR STOPPED. IT WOULD COME AND GO, ABOUT 2 MONTHS AFTER, IT HAPPENED MORE OFTEN, BUT I WAITED SINCE I HAD A MAINTENANCE COMING UP. I TOOK IT IN FOR MAINTENANCE ABOUT 5,000 MILES, MENTIONED IT TO THE SERVICE ATTENDANT AND HE TOLD ME THEY WOULD CHECK. I PICKED UP MY AUDI I WAS TOLD THEY DID NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES. AT THAT TIME THE ATTENDANT MENTIONED THAT OTHER Q7ʻS HAD SOMETHING GOING ON WITH THE BRAKES, BU…

The contact owns a 2015 Audi Q7. The contact stated while refueling the vehicle, the fuel gauge failed to properly indicate that the fuel tank was full. The contact continued refueling the vehicle, and fuel started spilling from the filler neck. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the fuel pump flange. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V298000 (Fuel System Gasoline). The VIN was included, and the vehi…

IF THE VEHICLE IS IN NEUTRAL GEAR, IT CANNOT BE PLACED INTO DRIVE GEAR, UNLESS YOU DEPRESS THE BRAKE. WHEN YOU PLACE THIS VEHICLE IN A CAR WASH THAT PUSHES THE VEHICLE IN THE NEUTRAL GEAR, WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIFT GEAR TO DRIVE UNLESS YOU DEPRESS THE BRAKE. APPLYING THE BRAKES IN A MOVING CAR WASH LINE IS DANGEROUS. IF YOU DO NOT QUICKLY CHANGE GEARS, THE VEHICLE COULD SLIP THE ROLLERS AND POTENTIALLY CAUSE THE VEHICLE BEHIND IT TO STRIKE THE Q7. *TR
