ON JANUARY 9 2004 I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FROM YAMAHA MOTOR CORPORATION, NOTIFYING ME OF A RECALL ON MY 2002 ROADSTAR SILVERADO VIN#[XXX] BECAUSE OF TRANSMISSION FAILURE I WAS INSTRUCTED BY YAMAHA MOTOR CORP. NOT TO RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE IT IS UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS. THEY SAID TO TAKE IT TO MY LOCAL DEALER AND THE NECESSARY REPAIRS WOULD BE MADE TO MAKE IT SAFE IN A TIMELY MANNER.
