When pulling the front brake lever, if it is pulled lightly the rear brake does not light up at all. It has to have a certain amount of pressure applied to it before the rear brake lights up. The rear brake as soon as it is pressed it lights the rear light up. I have had Petes Cycle in Baltimore MD look at this and they have advised this is how Yamaha has this setup, it has been confirmed and reproduced by dealer. This is a HUGE safety issue in my opinion and should be looked into and Yamaha should be forced to fix this. People that are behin…

Vehicle: 2026 Yamaha MT-10 I am reporting a safety-related defect involving my 2026 Yamaha MT-10 motorcycle. The motorcycle has experienced an intermittent no-crank/no-start condition. When the problem occurs, the instrument panel and electrical system power up normally, but pressing the starter button produces no engine cranking. The defect occurs unpredictably.
