Owner report 11330669 · 2020-06-24 (June 24, 2020)
OUR RV IS NOW HAVING THE SECOND WHEEL SPEED SENSOR REPLACED. THE RV HAS 14000 MILES ON IT. THE FIRST TIME THE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME THAT HE REPLACES THEM FREQUENTLY ON THE RVS. WHEN THE SENSOR FAILS THE ABS AND THE ESP FAIL. THE BRAKES SOMETIMES PUMP THEMSELVES, WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I DID A SEARCH ON THIS PROBLEM AND IT IS WIDESPREAD. THE MERCEDES MANUFACTURES THE CHASSIS. A SEARCH ON SPRINTER RV WITH ABS FAILURE TURNS UP 20 OR SO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PART FAILING. THE PROBLEM RENDERS THE VEHICLE DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. THE INITIAL F…

Owner report 11531160 · 2023-07-09 (July 9, 2023)
The component is wheel speed sensors. Safety issues - uncontrolled speed, transmission, engine performance, vehicle unable to be operated safely - Had the problem in 2020 (twice) - 2 of 4 sensors replaced after towing....again, in 2020 the third failed - had the 4th replaced at my expense. This year, two days of terror driving across WA - made it to Spokane Mercedes - three of the four sensors were reported as bad - replaced. Almost all warning lights were on at some point getting to the repair - ABS most consistent. This needs a fix as the…

2016 WINNEBAGO VIEW. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE ALIGNMENT ISSUES, RADIO AND GPS SYSTEM NOT WORKING. *SMD THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED IT WAS FAIRLY COMMON TO HAVE AN ALIGNMENT ISSUE BECAUSE THE COACH COMPARTMENT WAS INSTALLED AFTER THE CHASSIS HAD ALREADY BEEN ALIGNED. THE CONSUMER STATED IT TOOK OVER TOW MONTHS, BEFORE THE RV WAS READY. THE CONSUMER STATED AS HE WAS DRIVING, HE NOTICED THE REPAIRS HAD NOT BEEN MADE. WHEN THE CONSUMER RETURNED TO THE DEALER, HE WAS INFORMED THE SYSTEM HAD ONLY BEEN REPROGRAMMED, BECAUSE THE SYSTEM R…
