Upon leaving our campground on the morning of 11/30/2023 we were driving out on paved campground exit road at about 10MPH when Carefree awning on our 2022 Winnebago Travato suddenly and without warning fully extended in an uncontrolled fashion. We pulled over immediately and determined how to manually retract the awning with a socket wrench. Upon manually retracting the awning it was still not secured and reeled completely out again. We repeated the manual retraction and this time secured the awning by tying nylon straps around both ends of …

This is a 2022 Winnebago Travato with the same problem as reported in #11571902. Electrical cables are routed in the inside of the left front wheel well where they can be rubbed by tires.
