Three separate safety incidents occurred within the last 3 months. INCIDENT 1: On at least two occasions while turning, the steering felt aggressive and notchy, resisting or jerking unexpectedly during the turn. INCIDENT 2: While driving on the Florida Turnpike at approximately 80 mph southbound around 7:00 AM, the vehicle suddenly reacted as if detecting an obstacle and applied what felt like emergency braking. I was checking EV charging locations on my Pixel 10a while the EX30 was driving in Pilot Assist mode. I was hand-free. The car was chirping at me to do something, I have XXX while cars zoomed past at 80 mph or more (just outside of [XXX]). Vehicles were depertely swerving, honking, I was yelling at the car to move... it remained tied to the ground. After what felt like an eternity (you'll need to check the car black box), I realized my phone needed to be placed back on the middle console to get a 'key read'. I am filing this complaint regarding NHTSA Recall 26V103 (Manufacturer Recall R10362) for my 2025 Volvo EX30, VIN [XXX] . The recall was issued February 18, 2026 for a fire, overheating, and smoke safety risk due to potential overheating of the High-Voltage battery cell. The remedy requires battery module inspection and replacement, however Volvo has acknowledged that no replacement parts are available and has provided no estimated timeline for repair. A battery recall was placed on the vehicle on February 18, 2026. However, the battery fire risk existed before this date. According to Volvo's instructions, I can only charge to 70 percent. We are also instructed to only charge when the vehicle can be monitored. Because of my business and need to have a vehicle ready to go at all times, I have to charge overnight. It is my only vehicle.
