WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH OF LEASING THIS NEW CAR (< 250 MILES), BOTH LOW PROFILE OEM FRONT TIRES (235/40R-19 PIRELLI P ZERO ALL SEASON VOL VOLVO, KS, PNCS XL, PART NUMBER 3158400) WERE DAMAGED BY POTHOLES. TL* THE CONTACT LEASED A 2019 VOLVO S60. UPON LEASING THE VEHICLE, THE LANE KEEP ASSIST FEATURE ONLY WORKED APPROXIMATELY 10% OF THE TIME. ALSO, THE FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE FAILED TO OPERATE. WHILE DRIVING ON A SUNNY DAY I KEPT BEING BLINDED BY CHROME / MIRROR FINISH ELEMENTS SURROUNDING THE STEERING WHEEL. IT WASN'T HAPPENING ONLY FOR A MOMENT, MY EYES HURT AFTER DRIVING HOME FROM WORK. ON 12-MAR-2021, I WAS SITTING IN MY 2019 VOLVO S60, AND IT WAS NOT RUNNING. I WAS USING THE CENTER DISPLAY TO LOOK AT THE PROFILE SETTINGS. THE CAR WAS SET TO THE PROFILE FOR 'GUEST'. On Saturday, August 21, 2021, the automatic emergency braking engaged while we were travelling between 60-70 mph on I-95. There was no apparent reason for the braking because there was no vehicle or other obstacle to trigger the braking. After a few moments of hard braking the braking stopped and we proceeded normally.

Gear shifts into neutral randomly at low speeds after coming to a complete stop when auto-off on the engine is activated. This happens on the road when pulling out of an intersection and the gear shifter needs to be physically moved into neutral then drive to engage the transmission again. My dealership was unable to reproduce the problem. I took a video of it when it occurred. There have been no warning lights or indications on the dash when this happens.

Reported: 2019-04-25 (April 25, 2019)
Volvo Car USA LLC (Volvo) is recalling certain 2019 S60 vehicles. The rear suspension toe link flange lock nuts may not have been properly tightened, possibly resulting in a sudden change in vehicle handling.
Consequence: A sudden change in vehicle handling can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the rear toe link flange bolts and lock nuts, replacing them if necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 6, 2019. Owner's my contact Volvo Customer Service at 1-800-458-1552. Volvo's number for this recall is R19938.

Reported: 2020-03-12 (March 12, 2020)
Volvo Cars USA LLC (Volvo Cars) is recalling certain 2019-2020 S60, V60, V60 Cross Country, S90L, V90, V90 Cross Country, XC40, XC60, and XC90 vehicles. Due to a software/hardware incompatibility, the Automatic Emergency Brake (AEB) system may not detect obstacles and engage as intended.
Consequence: If the automatic emergency braking system does not engage as intended, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Volvo will notify owners, and dealers will update the Active Safety Domain Master (ASDM) software, free of charge. The recall began April 9, 2020. Owners may contact Volvo customer service at 1-800-458-1552. Volvo's number for this recall is R29998.

Reported: 2021-06-02 (June 2, 2021)
Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2019-2020 V90, XC60, S60, V60, V60CC, S90, V90CC, S90L, and XC90 vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump can blow a fuse and fail.
Consequence: Failure of the low-pressure fuel pump can cause a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 2, 2021. Owners may contact Volvo Car customer service at 1-888-458-1552. Volvo Car's number for this recall is R10100.

Reported: 2023-11-21 (November 21, 2023)
Volvo Car USA, LLC. (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2019-2024 S60 vehicles. The passenger air bag may not be secured properly, which can cause the air bag to deploy improperly.
Consequence: An air bag that does not deploy properly in a crash increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts securing the passenger air bag, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 5, 2024. Owners may contact Volvo Car customer service at 1-800-458-1552. Volvo Car's number for this recall is R10254.
