The contact owns a 2022 Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20K RV. The contact stated that the skid plate to protect the alternator had the incorrect OEM bolt size and was also missing bolts to secure the alternator. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact realigned the skid plate and replaced the bolts with the correct size by himself. The RV was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,500.

Thor Sequences RV: The roof top solar that was installed by Thor Motorcoach flew off of the RV roof while I was driving on [XXX] in downtown Columbus, Ohio. I thought something fell out of a cabinet when I heard a thud. I exited [XXX] on [XXX], and a Central Ohio Transit Authority van driver told something flew off the roof of the RV. I parked and inspected the vehicle and discovered the solar panel was missing. I drove to Mark Wahlberg Air Stream where I purchased the camper van and reported the issue. Reported: 2021-05-26 (May 26, 2021)

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022 Rize, Scope, Sequence, and Tellaro vehicles. The Flex-190 Solar Panel junction box may short.

Consequence: An electrical short can cause the junction box to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install a new solar panel and junction box, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 22, 2021. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000226.

Reported: 2022-05-05 (May 5, 2022)

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022 Scope, Tellaro, Sanctuary, Delano, Sequence, Tranquility, Rize, Synergy, Quantum, Magnitude, Geneva, Compass, Chateau, Four Winds, and 2022-2023 Tiburon, and Gemini vehicles. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867.

25V791000 · Structure:Critical Fasteners | Equipment:Electrical:Accessory Generator:Solar Panel

Reported: 2025-11-17 (November 17, 2025)

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Twist, Dazzle, 2023 Tranquility, Sanctuary, 2022-2024 Tellaro, Sequence, and 2024 Freedom Elite Van recreational vehicles. The solar panel mounting brackets may become loose or break allowing the solar panel to detach.

Consequence: A detached solar can become a road hazard for other vehicles and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install missing washers, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 12, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000336.
