The receiver hitch tore on both sides where the manufacturer (lippert) bends it, you can see where there press pinched the bend possibly weakening it. I have seen other forums and posts today about similar issues and denied responsibility from lippert on those posts. The hitch is available for inspection, ourselves and others were at risk of injury or death. I have not brought the physical unit into a shop, I don’t think it’s an insurance claim, and I don’t think I can report it to police? Since the situation was realized before it became catas…
