The vehicle I rented , a Thor RV based on a Ford E350 , was handed over with a missing lug nut on one wheel and a dangerously loose lug nut on the opposite rear wheel. The component that failed is part of the wheel fastener system (lugs/nuts/bolts). It is not available for inspection now, as the vehicle has since been returned to the rental company. This situation posed a serious safety risk , had the remaining nuts failed while driving, the wheel could have detached entirely, potentially leading to a crash or injury. I noticed the issue durin…

2026 Ford E-350 Chassis / Thor Four Winds 25Z motor coach; which only had about 800 miles on it! While driving north on I-81, the low tire pressure warning came on. So, I switched to the tire pressure screen and the outside left tire was dramatically loosing pressure from recommended 65 psi - dropping to around 30 psi within a few mile. We pulled of onto the shoulder, with only 3-4’ clearance of traffic. My wife and I found that the angled extension valve stem came unscrewed from straight connection on the rim and was loosing lots of air. I was…

Reported: 2025-03-20 (March 20, 2025)

Thor Motor Company (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Axis, Chateau, Four Winds, 2023-2025 Coleman, Echelon, Freedom Elite, Geneva, Outlaw, Quantum, Vegas, 2025 Eddie Bauer, Freedom Traveler, Pasadena, and 2024-2025 Magnitude motorhomes. The slide-Out room can be deployed without the parking brake engaged, allowing the room to extend while the vehicle is in motion.

Consequence: A slide-Out room that extends unexpectedly increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the park brake harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000325.

25V709000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Lpg Systems:Lines And Fittings

Reported: 2025-10-17 (October 17, 2025)

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2026 Geneva, 2025-2026 Quantum, Four Winds, Pasadena, Eddie Bauer, Chateau, Freedom Elite, and Coleman recreational vehicles. A P-clamp may not have been installed, allowing the Liquid Propane (LP) generator hose to contact the exhaust.

Consequence: A LP hose that contacts the generator exhaust increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install a P-clamp to secure the LP hose, free of chare. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000335.
