Truck wiring harness is rubbing against the front driver's side body mount, this is a known issue on these trucks, and causes the wiring harness to start rubbing, causing electrical failures, and may cause accidents. Others have stated this occurred to their truck before it reached 50,000 miles. I just checked my 7,000 mile, and found the wiring harness was rubbing.

The contact owns a 2024 Ram 3500 equipped with Nexen Tires, Tire Line: Roadian HTX RH5, Tire Size: LT235/80/R17, DOT Number: 8EX6CMFR2223. The contact stated while driving approximately 65-70 MPH, the contact heard an abnormal sound and felt the steering wheel vibrate. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and noticed that the front passenger's side tire had a blowout. My new truck lost power on highway. Parking position didn't hold the car from movement. My car didn't drive forward and rear. Dealership said that its transfer case issue.

Truck was parked on 5% slope, and transmission shifted into park, and parking brake set. Transmission then made a popping noise, and shifted into reverse, and vehicle started moving backwards. Parking brake failed to hold vehicle. Applied brakes, and shifted into park again, and set parking brake, and it didn't reoccur.

The security system was not installed nor does it work. Our truck had a window smashed and the truck was broken into. The alarm never went off, nor did the lights flash. There is an indication the security system was never installed at the time of manufacturing. Property was stolen out of the vehicle and the thief was successful at breaking into our truck. At the time of the purchase of the truck, the security system is listed in the bill of sale.

The contact owned a 2024 RAM 3500. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle and idling on the driveway, it caught on fire in the engine compartment. The vehicle was engulfed in flames. The fire department arrived and extinguished the fire. The origin of the fire was unknown. The entire engine compartment was burnt and the vehicle was destroyed. I was towing a 18000 lb fifth wheel rv about 45 mph when traffic made a panic stop in front of me. I couldn’t stop and had an accident. I later determined the brake controller on truck didn’t provide the 12 volts needed to get maximum braking from the fifth wheel brakes. I took it to the dealer and they confirmed that at slower speeds it doesn’t give maximum voltage. They contacted Ram engineer to find a fix but was informed that that it was operating as designed. The contact owns a 2024 Ram 3500. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, the contact became aware that the side view mirror extender feature was not functioning as needed, compromising the visibility from the sideview. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the mirror extender switch had an electrical fault. The vehicle was not repaired. Reported: 2023-11-28 (November 28, 2023)
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Ram 1500 Classic, Ram 3500 Classic, 3500 Cab Chassis, 2023-2024 Ram 2500, 4500/5500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 3500 vehicles. The steering column control module may cause the high beams to activate when the turn signal is used or activate the turn signal when the high beams are used. In addition, the turn signal self-canceling feature may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence: Turn signals and/or high beams that do not function as intended may cause confusion or reduced visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the steering column control module (SCCM) software, and inspect and replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's numbers for this recall are B2A and D5A.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) (Stellantis) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Chrysler Pacifica, Ram 3500, Ram 3500 cab chassis, Ram 2500, Ram 4500 cab chassis, Ram 5500 cab chassis, 2023 Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a GVWR less than 10,000 lbs., and Chrysler Voyager vehicles. The steering column control module may not be welded properly, which can prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Consequence: An air bag that does not deploy in a crash can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module, as necessary free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2024 through June 20, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's numbers for this recall are 14B, 33B, 34B, 35B, 36B.
