CAR WAS BOUGHT NOVEMBER 1ST.. 3330 MILES AND ALREADY HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE FRONTAL SHOCKS THEY MAKE.. DRIVING MY CAR I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN SMOKE OR STEAM COMING FROM MY CAR, WHEN I PARKED AND GOT OUT I SMELLED BURNT RUBBER, BURNT BRAKE SMELL AND THIS TIME I COULD SEE SMOKE COMING OUT FROM MY LEFT WHEEL, I TOOK THE CAR IN NEXT DAY, WAS TOLD IT WAS OVER SPRAY ON THE UNDERSIDE CAUSING THE SMOKING AND BRAKES WERE GOOD, AFTER THAT I WOULD OCCASIONALLY HEAR GRINDING NOISE FROM MY BRAKES BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID THE BRAKES WERE GOOD. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA NOTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG OFF WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN VERSA NOTE. AS SOON AS THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, A STRONG ODOR WAS PRESENT. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE STRONG ODOR WAS MOLD. THE CONTACT BECAME SICK AND VOMITED DUE TO THE ODOR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.

Reported: 2015-07-21 (July 21, 2015)

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2015 Nissan Rogue vehicles manufactured June 9, 2015, to June 10, 2015, and 2015 Nissan Sentra and Versa Note vehicles manufactured June 5, 2015, to June 13, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the driver side front and rear doors may not fully latch. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."

Consequence: A door that does not fully latch may result in the door opening while the car is moving. The distraction may increase the risk of a crash and/or a vehicle occupant may fall out of the vehicle if they are not wearing a seatbelt, increasing their risk of injury.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the date, lot number, and cavity code on the left front and rear door latches, and replace them, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on August 31, 2015. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2012-2015 Nissan Versa sedan vehicles manufactured June 9, 2011, to March 11, 2015, and 2014-2015 Nissan Versa Note vehicles manufactured April 23, 2013, to March 11, 2015. The affected vehicles have a center console trim panel that may catch the driver's shoe and delay the transition from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal.

Consequence: A delay in the application of the brake pedal would lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will modify the console trim panel, free of charge. The recall began on September 14, 2015. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.
