Owner report 11461872 · 2022-04-23 (April 23, 2022)

Nuisance service advance trac light illuminates which in turn disables hill assist, abs and cruise control. Will reset when ignition is recycled. However no ABS on a large vehicle in adverse weather is unsettling. It’s my understanding that this is a frequent issue in the new Ford F53 chassis. Many consumers have reported dealerships are unable to determine the exact cause and only have the fault(s) return. I have reported this issue to the Ford Rv assistance division along with many others. I am unsure if ford is investigating appropriately to…

Owner report 11509171 · 2023-02-26 (February 26, 2023)

On numerous occasions the dash warning light will come on stating "Service Advance Trac". When this happens traction control, hill assist & cruise control all shut off without any warning. Sometimes the ABS light illuminates also. Ford does not seem to have a fix for this problem as it has effected many newer F53 chassis. Ford tells customers to just stop for a few minutes & cycle the key. It clears it for a little while but always comes back on. No trouble codes show up when scanning with an OBD2 scanner. Ford say they are working on a fix…

Owner report 11525912 · 2023-06-07 (June 7, 2023)

The brakes on the Ford chassis were damaged due to extreme heat before the unit was sold to me and have been damaged 2 additional times due to extreme heat in the first 3,500 miles. The unit was purchased new and had 1,460 miles when purchased in August 2022. Ford is attempting to repair the vehicle again and have had the unit in their possession for 9 months. We are concerned with a brake failure or fire hazard and have asked the manufacturer to repurchase the unit from us under the Texas Lemon Law.
