TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ S350. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH ONTO AN EXIT RAMP, THE ENGINE DECREASED IN POWER AND HESITATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS FOR THE SAME FAILURES, BUT THERE WERE NO RESOLUTIONS. THE ENGINE WAS RECODED. RECENTLY, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE WARNING INDICATOR REMAI…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ E350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING, A FUEL ODOR EMITTED FROM THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. UPDATED 4/23/13 *CN UPDATED 05/22/2013 *JS
