RIGHT HAND SIDE TPMS ARE READING 10 PSI HIGHER THAN ACTUAL PRESSURE IN TIRES. THERE IS NO MANUAL RESET FOR TPMS IN CX30 MODEL. ATTEMPTS TO HAVE TPMS AUTO DETECTED BY DRIVING PER OWNER MANUAL DID NOT FIX INCORRECT HIGH READING FROM TPMS

LAST NIGHT, AFTER WE RETURNED HOME, MY WIFE REMOVED A CUP FROM OUR VEHICLE'S CUP HOLDER. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, AN EXTREMELY LOUD SOUND OF STATIC BEGAN TO BE HEARD, EMANATING FROM THE CAR'S SPEAKER SYSTEM. REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE DID THE SOUND WOULD NOT TURN OFF, AND REMAINED ONGOING FOR A PERIOD OF ABOUT AN HOUR. NOTHING HAPPENED WHEN WE TURNED THE SPEAKER VOLUME DOWN, OR TURNED THE CAR ON OR OFF. IT WAS NOT ONLY LOUD, BUT ALSO QUITE SCARY. WE HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP, BUT THEY INDICATED THAT THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. THEY, HO…

I SEE THIS AS A POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE THAT THE ONLY WAY TO OPEN THE REAR HATCH FROM INSIDE MY CX30 REQUIRES THE NEED OF A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER. WHO ROUTINELY HAS THIS ITEM IN THEIR CAR.

Owner report 11363884 · 2020-10-12 (October 12, 2020)
DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT IS TOO SENSITIVE. WITHOUT EVEN STOPPING ABRUPTLY, THE SEAT BELT BECOMES LOCKED MAKING IT DIFFICULT IF TRYING TO LEAN FORWARD TO SEE IF TRAFFIC IS COMING AS SEAT BELT DOESN'T UNLOCK EASILY. I TYPICALLY HAVE TO UNCLIP THE SEAT BELT TO LET IT RETRACT THEN PUT IT BACK ON. THIS HAPPENS ALMOST DAILY. CAR DOESN'T HAVE TO BE IN MOTION EITHER, I CAN BE STOPPED AND NOT ALL BUT MOST TIMES IF LEANING FORWARD THE BELT BECOMES LOCKED. I'VE HAD MANY CARS, NONE WITH THIS ISSUE. HAPPENS WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR STOPPED AND LEANING.

Recall history
3 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
20V346000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Foundation Components:Disc:Caliper
Reported: 2020-06-12 (June 12, 2020)
Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2020 CX-30 and Mazda3 vehicles. The front brake caliper mounting bolts may not have been tightened properly during assembly, possibly allowing the calipers to loosen.
Consequence: Loose brake calipers can reduce braking performance or interfere with wheel rotation, affecting vehicle handling. Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the front brake caliper bolts, tightening them as necessary. If bolts are missing, the affected brake caliper will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began July 24, 2020. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500, Option 4. Mazda's number for this recall is 4420F.

Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2020 CX-30 vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive. The evaporative vent hose for the fuel tank may be disconnected, possibly allowing fuel to leak from the charcoal canister vent at the rear of the vehicle.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of a fire. Additionally, the engine may stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the evaporative vent hose in the fuel tank. If the hose is disconnected, it will be reconnected and the charcoal canister with some related parts will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began July 29, 2020. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500, Option 4. Mazda's number for this recall is 4520F.

Remedy: Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will update the power liftgate control module software and inspect the serial number of the power liftgate drive unit, replacing it if necessary, free of charge. The recall began April 8, 2021. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500 option 4. Mazda's number for this recall is 4621B.
