MY MAZDA B3000 PICKUP WOULD NOT STOP AT A RED LIGHT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. WHEN I ENGAGED THE BRAKE THE FRONT END SHOOK AND THEN THERE WERE NO BRAKES. THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT THERE WAS A LIGHT RAIN BUT I HAD NOT DRIVEN THROUGH ANY PUDDLES, THEREFORE I DON'T THINK IT WAS DUE TO "WET" BRAKES AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD. ULTIMATELY MY BRAKES DID NOT WORK, I ONLY HAVE 30K MILES ON THE VEHICLE, AND I WILL FEAR DRIVING IT ONCE THE BODY HAS BEEN FIXED. I HAVE NEVER HAD A VEHICLE THAT WOULDN'T STOP AND I FEEL THERE IS SOMETHING MECHANICALLY WRONG. I HAD OVE…

I HAVE FOUR GOODYEAR WRANGLER SILENT ARMOR TIRES ON MY PICKUP TRUCK. ONE TIRE WENT FLAT DUE TO TEARS ON THE SIDEWALL OF THE TIRE. SO I THEN INSPECTED THE OTHER TIRES AND FOUND TEARS STARTING IN EACH OF THE OTHER TIRES AS WELL AS THE RUBBER IS PEELING OFF THE SIDEWALLS LIKE SNAKESKIN. THEN THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS MY STEERING WHEEL AS BEGUN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AT ANY SPEED OVER 40MPH. TWO OF THE TIRES ARE FALLING APART AND BEGINNING TO GET BUBBLES ON THE SIDEWALLS. THESE TIRES ONLY HAVE 24,000 MILES ON THEM AND ARE ABOUT 2-3 YEARS OLD. I HAVE…

17V806000 · Air Bags:Frontal:Passenger Side:Inflator Module
Reported: 2017-12-14 (December 14, 2017)
Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2004-2006 Mazda B-series trucks. Upon deployment of the passenger side frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to rupture.
Consequence: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants, potentially resulting in serious injury or death.
Remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the repair has been performed. Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger side frontal air bag inflator with an alternate inflator, free of charge. The recall began on January 17, 2018. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500. Mazda's number for this recall is 1817L. Note: This recall supersedes recall 15V-346. Vehicles that received a replacement air bag inflator under the previous campaign need to return to a dealer to have an alternate inflator installed.
