Owner report 10153430 · 2006-03-22 (March 22, 2006)
MY MAZDA B3000 PICKUP WOULD NOT STOP AT A RED LIGHT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. WHEN I ENGAGED THE BRAKE THE FRONT END SHOOK AND THEN THERE WERE NO BRAKES. THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT THERE WAS A LIGHT RAIN BUT I HAD NOT DRIVEN THROUGH ANY PUDDLES, THEREFORE I DON'T THINK IT WAS DUE TO "WET" BRAKES AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD. ULTIMATELY MY BRAKES DID NOT WORK, I ONLY HAVE 30K MILES ON THE VEHICLE, AND I WILL FEAR DRIVING IT ONCE THE BODY HAS BEEN FIXED. I HAVE NEVER HAD A VEHICLE THAT WOULDN'T STOP AND I FEEL THERE IS SOMETHING MECHANICALLY WRONG. I HAD OVE…

Owner report 10474001 · 2012-09-05 (September 5, 2012)
I HAVE FOUR GOODYEAR WRANGLER SILENT ARMOR TIRES ON MY PICKUP TRUCK. ONE TIRE WENT FLAT DUE TO TEARS ON THE SIDEWALL OF THE TIRE. SO I THEN INSPECTED THE OTHER TIRES AND FOUND TEARS STARTING IN EACH OF THE OTHER TIRES AS WELL AS THE RUBBER IS PEELING OFF THE SIDEWALLS LIKE SNAKESKIN. THEN THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS MY STEERING WHEEL AS BEGUN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AT ANY SPEED OVER 40MPH. TWO OF THE TIRES ARE FALLING APART AND BEGINNING TO GET BUBBLES ON THE SIDEWALLS. THESE TIRES ONLY HAVE 24,000 MILES ON THEM AND ARE ABOUT 2-3 YEARS OLD. I HAVE…

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE ASKED THIS SAME QUESTION. FORD RECALLED THESE VEHICLES AND THE MAZDA "B" SERIES PICK-UP IS MADE BY FORD SHOULDN'T MAZDA CHECK THEIRS TOO? 2004 FORD RANGER STRUCTURE: FRAME AND MEMBERS:UNDERBODY SHIELDS SUMMARY: ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, THE FRAME MAY HAVE A CENTER RAIL SECTION FLANGE THAT WAS NOT FORMED PROPERLY. CONSEQUENCE: IN THE EVENT OF A SIDE IMPACT CRASH, THE FRAME RAIL SCOULD PUNCTURE THE FUEL TANK, RESULTING IN A FUEL LEAK. FUEL LEAKAGE, IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, COULD RESULT …
