F THE TURN SIGNAL CONTROL ARM IS MOVED PARTIALLY IN ANY DIRECTION, AND IMMEDIATELY MOVED INTO THE FULLY OPPOSITE DIRECTION, THE TURN SIGNALS WILL BE DISABLED. IF THE OPERATOR ADJUSTS THE HIGH BEAMS, OR SIMPLY MAKES A MISTAKE WHEN TRYING TO SIGNAL, (BY SELECTING THE WRONG DIRECTION FIRST) THE TURN SIGNAL WILL NOT OPERATE EVEN THOUGH THE CONTROL ARM IS IN THE FULLY LOCKED POSITION. THERE IS NO WEIGHT SENSOR IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. THERE IS NO NOTIFICATION THAT THE SEAT BELT IS NOT FASTENED. THE AIR BAG DOES NOT WORK UNLESS THE SEAT BELT IS FASTENED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD NAVIGATOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS CUT OFF BY AN 18-WHEELER, WHICH FORCED THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE INTO THE LEFT LANE, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE IN FRONT ON THE FREEWAY, WHICH IN TURN SET OFF A CHAIN REACTION. The brakes on my car stopped working and this caused me to crash into a wall. This accident caused by my brakes failing nearly killed me and put others at risk. There were no recalls, or warnings about the brakes failing before the accident.

Major rust problems that effect the safety of driving the vehicle. Vehicle will not pass PA State Inspection. Hood latch rusted. possibility of hood opening. Rust holes in rocker panels. FRAME cross supports. No enough space to explain. Please see attached PDF.

The contact owns a 2017 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated when starting the vehicle, the vehicle lost brake functionality. The brake fluid warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the brake master cylinder and brake booster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,500.

The contact owns a 2017 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that extra effort was needed to stop the vehicle while the brake fluid message appeared on the instrument panel. The contact replenished the brake fluid; however, the fluid would leak out of the reservoir soon after replacement. The contact called an independent mechanic and upon arrival at the mechanic shop, the brake fluid warning light illuminated as white smoke started coming from the tailpipe. Reported: 2022-03-11 (March 11, 2022)
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and 2016-2018 F-150 vehicles equipped with 3.5L Ecoboost engines. The brake master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak from the front wheel circuit into the brake booster.
Consequence: A loss of brake fluid may result in a change in brake pedal travel, increased pedal effort and reduced front brake function, requiring greater effort and distance to stop the vehicle. These conditions can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. An interim owner notification letter notifying customers of the safety defect were mailed on April 29, 2022. Owner notification letters were mailed April 29, 2022. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 20V-332. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S11.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The front blower motor located behind the glove box may fail.
Consequence: Front blower motor failure can increase the risk of a vehicle interior fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front blower motor assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2023. Remedy parts are expected to become available in the second quarter of 2023. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S56.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The LED logo lights on the exterior mirrors may short circuit.
Consequence: An electrical short circuit in the exterior mirror increases the risk of fire.
Remedy: Dealers will disconnect the LED light wires, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S08.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2018 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The brake master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak from the front wheel circuit into the brake booster.
Consequence: A brake fluid leak can cause reduced brake function and extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S37. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 22V-150.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 25V270. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 8, 2025.
