I have had several incidents of having to accelerate quickly and the engine stalled out. i reported it to the dealership and they claimed they could not recreate it and sent me on my way. Now that there is a supposed recall I would like to get my motor replaced or at least scheduled asap

When I applying breaks when coming to stop, hears abnormal humming noise. Sound appears to be coming from driver front seat by breaks. Every time I apply the brakes, I hear the motor actuating, and I'm so anxious and worried that the brakes might not work. The brake is a life-threatening device, so I'm very anxious. Currently, Lexus says that it is normal to make sounds and there is nothing wrong with safety, but this is not normal. And it is a brake, so it cannot be normal for safety. my problem occurs intermittenly, it occurs when i am idling at a stop. when i have to accelerate from the stop the car will lurch forward and die for approximately 3 seconds. It will then restart and drive normally, however the stopping in the middle of oncoming traffic is potentially life threatening. It has occurred approx 8 times since i bought the car in June 2023. I had the ECO recall done and it also occurred shortly after that. I have taken it back to the dealer and they could not recreate the problem. It occurs after idling and waiting …

My car suffered complete engine failure at 25,522 miles. Lexus claims that it is not in the VIN range of the recall. However, it is the exact same problem all other 2022-2023 LX600 are experiencing and being recalled for. Lexus is clearly minimizing the extent of the engine failure issue and my VIN is also part of the problem.

The contact owns a 2023 Lexus LX 600. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V767000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact called the dealer and the manufacturer and was informed that the remedy was not yet available. The contact stated that the dealer and the manufacturer offered a stipend for a rental. The contact deferred on renting a vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Description of Incident: This is a recurring safety defect that has occurred multiple times from August 2023 to February 2026. The following description refers to the most severe incidents: 1. On January 2, 2026, I delivered the vehicle to the authorized Lexus dealer in Ponce, Puerto Rico, in response to the recall, which identifies potential engine knocking, rough running, engine no-start, and/or loss of motive power. Reported: 2024-02-21 (February 21, 2024)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, Lexus LX600, and 2023-2024 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles. Unexpected vehicle movement may occur when the vehicle is in neutral and the brakes are not applied.
Consequence: Unexpected vehicle movement can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the transmission control ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 8, 2024. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24TA02 and 24LA02.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Tundra and Lexus LX600 vehicles equipped with a V35A engine. Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power.
Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the engine assembly, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed between December 17, 2024 and February 19, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24TB07/24TA07 and 24LB04/24LA04.

Reported: 2025-10-30 (October 30, 2025)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may cause the rearview camera to freeze or display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence: A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB13 and 25LB06. Subaru's number for this recall is WRE25.

Reported: 2025-11-06 (November 6, 2025)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX vehicles equipped with a V35A engine. Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power.
Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will perform an inspection on the #1 main bearing using vehicle inspection software and drive data, and if necessary, replace the engine. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner letters were mailed August 28, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB14 and 25TA14. Lexus' numbers for this recall are 25LB07 and 25LA07. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 24V381.

Reported: 2026-03-24 (March 24, 2026)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Lexus LX vehicles. The front passenger seat may have insufficient clearance between the seat frame and the stopper that can cause the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor to incorrectly detect the occupant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Consequence: Incorrect detection of an occupant may result in improper air bag deployment during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the front passenger seat frame assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed April 27, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated September 17 - October 1, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 26LB03 and 26LA03.
