WE BOUGHT A 1999 GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED JEEP, ALL WHEEL DRIVE. AFTER MANY, MANY UNSUCCESSFUL REPAIRS, I AM STILL UNABLE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE DUE TO FRONT DRIVE TRAIN AS WELL I CAN?T HEAR MYSELF TALK DUE TO THE WHINING NOISE THE REAR END MAKES. I HAVE DONE EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND THERE IS WEALTH OF WEB PAGES DEDICATED TO JEEP OWNERS WITH THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. IT IS NO DOUBT A FACTORY YET THEY TURN A BLIND EYE. SEAT HAS BROKEN AWAY FROM FRAME. SEAT AND SAFETY BELT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RESTRAIN DRIVER IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. SEAT REPLACED, AND OLD SEAT IS STILL AVAILABLE. *JB
