After filling our motorhome with fuel and driving on a trip, we noticed a check engine light that came on. I noticed a smell of gas but couldn’t pin point where it was coming from at that time. We ordered a code reader and it showed a large EVAP leak code which seemed to be there for a while but looked like it was cleared previously. Could still smell gas, so husband went under motorhome and smell got worse. Saw fuel leaking from filler hose that goes into fuel tank and no clamps in this particular area that was leaking fuel.

The contact owns a 2022 Jayco Precept RV built on a 2022 Ford F-53 chassis. The contact stated that while her husband was driving 60 MPH, the roller shade located above the windshield unraveled. Due to the failure, her husband's visibility became completely obstructed and he was unable to see anything in front of the RV. The contact and assisted her husband with the roller shade to prevent a potential crash. Ever since it was purchased new in 2021, the RV leans excessively to the passenger side even when it is unloaded and not moving. The dealer stated this is normal due to the weight distribution of the interior components. I recently noticed there are signs of the passenger side inner rear tire rubbing on a piece of chassis sheet metal, where the clearance is less than 1" on the passenger side. [XXX] we were camping in Maryland. I attempted to exit the motorhome through the only exit door. When I turned the door handle to open the door the handle fell off. We were not able to exit the motorhome. I called the RV Office and they sent over a maintenance man who had to open the door from the outside. The back end of the handle fell off the handle. The handle is made from aluminum and the end is rolled over there is a snap ring in a groove as cell. The snap ring groove apparently wore out which caused the whole device to fall apart. This …

Reported: 2022-05-04 (May 4, 2022)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Jayco Precept motorhomes. The heat shield beneath the storage compartment may not be long enough, which can allow the heat from the exhaust system to melt the storage compartment.
Consequence: A storage compartment that melts can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will extend the heat shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Entegra Accolade, Accolade XL, Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Emblem, Esteem, Expanse, Expanse LI, Odyssey, Qwest, Reatta, Reatta XL, Jayco Alante, Greyhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, Melbourne, Melbourne Prestige, Precept, Precept Prestige, Redhawk, Redhawk SE, Seneca, Seneca Prestige, and Seneca XT recreational vehicles. The certification labels may be missing the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Consequence: Missing axle information may result in the vehicle being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install a new corrected certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 31, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903583.

Reported: 2023-03-30 (March 30, 2023)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Jayco Atlante, Precept, Precept Prestige, Entegra Emblem, Vision, and Vision XL motorhomes. The rear stabilizer bar attachment brackets may break and separate from the vehicle.
Consequence: Brackets that separate from the vehicle can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the bolt tightness for both rear stabilizer attachment brackets and replace the weld nuts, bolts, and brackets as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is Ford 22V-731.
