TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1997 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN 1500 THAT TOWED A 2019 JAYCO JAY FEATHER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 55 MPH WITH WINDS, THE RECREATIONAL TRAILER BEGAN TO WOBBLE AND BEGAN LOSING CONTROL. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE BRAKES LOCKED AND THE VEHICLE CAME TO A JACKKNIFED STOP. THE VEHICLE THEN ROLLED AND LANDED ON ITS SIDE WHILE THE TRAILER WAS STILL UPRIGHT. The contact owns a 2019 Jayco Jay Feather Camper. The contact stated that propane gas was leaking into the camper. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V425000 (Equipment) and 21V184000 (Equipment) however, the part to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. Parts distribution disconnect.

While we were getting our trailer ready to go camping and filling the fresh water tank at home the tank dropped and is resting on the axles. We are fortunate this did not happen while driving as it could have very easily resulted in a catastrophic event. Jayco has informed me that this is out of warranty. I feel this is a manufacturer defect and needs to be reported and hopefully added to a growing list of concerns.

18V851000 · Suspension:Rear:Axle:Non-Powered Axle Assembly
Reported: 2018-11-30 (November 30, 2018)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019 Jayco White Hawk, Jay Flight SLX, and Jay Feather travel trailers. The inner wheel hub bearings may not have been sufficiently greased, which can cause the bearings to overheat and fail.
Consequence: If the bearings overheat, the hub may fail, affecting handling and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the hubs and bearings, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 21, 2018. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901422.

Reported: 2019-10-01 (October 1, 2019)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Jay Feather X19H travel trailers. The handles for the emergency exit windows may not allow the windows to open sufficiently for them to be used as an emergency egress.
Consequence: If an occupant is unable to exit through the egress window in the event of an emergency, there is an increased risk of an injury.
Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will replace the emergency window handles, free of charge. The recall began October 11, 2019. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901441.

Reported: 2021-03-17 (March 17, 2021)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Jayco White Hawk, Jay Flight SLX, Jay Feather, and Jay Flight travel trailers equipped with Dometic 3 burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.
Consequence: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and Dometic service centers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 3, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901566.

Reported: 2021-06-04 (June 4, 2021)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Jayco Designer, 2017-2021 Eagle HT, Eagle, Jay Feather, Jay Flight SLX, Jay Flight, North Point, Octane Superlite, Pinnacle, White Hawk, 2017-2020 Eagle HT, 2018-2021 Jay Flight Bungalow, 2017-2019 Octane, and 2019-2020 Eagle HTX travel trailers and fifth wheels equipped with a Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulator. The regulator may fail, causing an increase in propane pressure.
Consequence: Increased propane pressure can enlarge the flames in gas appliances, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the regulator and test the propane system for leaks, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 3, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
