ON JULY 12,2017 MY VEHICLE STALLED AND WOULD NOT START AFTER REPEATED TRIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A JAGUAR DEALER WHERE IT STAYED FOR 14 DAYS WHILE THEY TRIED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. A NEW FUEL PUMP DRIVER MODULE WAS INSTALLED AND THE DEALER DECLARED THE PROBLEM FIXED. THE MILEAGE ON THE CAR WAS 696 MILES ENTERING THE DEALER AND 724 MILES LEAVING. ON AUGUST 3, 2017 MY VEHICLE STALLED AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RESTART AFTER REPEATED TRIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE IT STAYED FOR ANOTHER 15 DAYS. THE DEALER STATED THE PROBL…

GAS LEAKING FROM THE ENGINE CAUSING INTENSE SMELL , RISK OF FIRE BEING NEAR THE HOT ENGINE. CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE CAR TOWED TO THE DEALER.

16V789000 · Suspension:Rear

Reported: 2016-10-28 (October 28, 2016)

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR vehicles built between February 19, 2016 and August 15, 2016. Due to assembly corrections during manufacturing, the bolts connecting the rear lower control arms to the knuckle assembly may fail prematurely.

Consequence: If the lower control arm bolt connecting bolt fails, the rear control arm assembly may separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the bolt that connects the rear lower control arm to the rear knuckle joint, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on December 19, 2016. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is J076.

16V940000 · Seat Belts:Pretensioner

Reported: 2016-12-28 (December 28, 2016)

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2017 Jaguar XE vehicles manufactured July 12, 2016, to December 2, 2016, and Jaguar F-Type vehicles manufactured July 14, 2016, to December 16, 2016. The affected vehicles have front seat seatbelt pretensioners that may not function properly in the event of a crash.

Consequence: If the front seat seatbelt pretensioners do not function properly, the seat occupants may not be adequately restrained in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the front seat belt assemblies, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 20, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is J081.
