24 July, approx 930 AM vehicle was stopped and left running in park. Vehicle keys (Fob) was left in vehicle and driver exited vehicle for approx 3-5 minutes. Upon return, the vehicle was locked, something that should not occur when the key (Fob) is left in the vehicle. Remote access via the Infiniti app to unlock was unsuccessful. 2nd vehichle key (Fob) was retrieved and the vehicle successfully opened using it. Infiniti was contacted and they were unable to remotely open the vehicle. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. WHAT IF THERE HAD …

My 2 year old son became Locked inside my brand new vehicle on [XXX] and [XXX] because the vehicle didn't detect TWO sets of keys inside the vehicle on one occasion and one set on another during the first incident my child became locked inside the vehicle with two sets of keys inside on the center in the cupholder. Police had to respond to physically open the door and assist getting my child out of the vehicle. this created a SERIOUS safety risk because my child was not only trapped inside a vehicle , but during a heat wave. this vehicle was d…
